Sweet & Salty Chicken Wings

Ingredients (serves 2)

For the No-Soy Stir Fry Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon No-Soy Sauce
  • 1½ teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons honey
  • ¾ teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¾ teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ garlic clove, minced
  • Pinch of black pepper

 

For the Chicken Wings:

  • 500g chicken wings
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil

 

How to make it

  1. Make sauce: Mix No-Soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and black pepper in small bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves and let sit while preparing wings.

  2. Season wings: Sprinkle salt and pepper over chicken wings and rest 5 minutes.

  3. Cook wings: Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add wings and stir-fry 10 minutes until golden-brown.

  4. Glaze: Add stir fry sauce and cook 1 minute over low heat, stirring constantly until wings are well coated and glossy.
