Ingredients (serves 2)

230g korean rice cakes
Ā¼ onion, sliced
1 pouch Sempio Tteokboki Sauce
2 eggs, hard-boiled
Sesame seeds and chives (optional)

How to make it

  1. Cook Korean rice cakes according to package instructions and keep to the side.

  2. In a pan over medium heat, combine Sempio Tteokbokki Sauce and onion and stir-fry for 3 mins.

  3. Add cooked rice cakes and stir fry for another minute. Add a splash of water if the sauce becomes too thick.

  4. Top with a boiled egg (halved) then sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped chives to serve.
